The McKnight Protocol

What’s unique to us

Ron McKnight has been working with Olympic and professional athletes since 1990. Talking to the athletes about their training observations helped Ron create an algorithm for prevention.

We continue to study and treat athletes. The McKnight Protocol has shown that by educating practitioners and the athlete in our techniques we can increase palpation reliability and lessen false assessments. This creates a greater response to treatment and greater competitive success.

Special attention to common stress problems

We are giving special attention to two areas of the body with commonly stress problems. The first we call CLIPS or Chiropodic Ligament Injury Prevention and Safety and are probably the most repeatedly stressed of all the body parts yet complained of least is injuries of collateral ligament of the feet considering many sports require use of upper and lower extremities.

The second area of focus is referred to as ECLIPS or Elbow Collateral Ligament Injury Prevention and Safety which addresses the repeatedly stressed ligaments of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand and any functioning parts to play any paddle, stick or club sport.
